How Many Animals are Confined in Shopping Malls?

Wild animals don’t belong in shopping malls, but SeaQuest, an American aquarium chain, keeps them there. This roadside petting zoo confines animals to cramped cages in dingy malls. It subjects them to a near-constant stream of customers poking and prodding at them, which puts the animals and the public in danger of getting hurt. This tourist trap can’t even provide animals with the basics to survive, like clean enclosures, food and water, and veterinary care. SeaQuest treats living, feeling beings as if they were disposable.

While three SeaQuest locations have closed over the past year, seven remain open. help shut them down
